government has decided to extend the current social distancing stage, which is stage 4 in the metropolitan area and stage 3 in non-metropolitan areas, by 4 more weeks until the 3rd of next month.



This is considering the number of confirmed cases around 2,000 a day and the amount of movement that will increase rapidly before and after Chuseok.



However, in consideration of the difficulties of the self-employed, the business hours of restaurants and cafes in Level 4 areas, including the metropolitan area, will be extended to 10:00 p.m. by one hour.



The limit of the number of gatherings in restaurants, cafes, and at home was also decided to allow up to 6 people.



In stage 3 areas such as non-metropolitan areas, including 4 people who have completed vaccination, up to 8 people can be gathered at all multi-use facilities.



In both tier 3 and 4 areas, up to 99 people are allowed at the wedding venue, unless catering is provided.



Special quarantine measures for Chuseok will be implemented for two weeks from the 13th to the 26th.



Rail tickets are sold only for window seats, and food cannot be eaten inside the rest area.



Visits to long-term care hospitals and facilities are possible regardless of distance.



From the 17th to the 23rd, just before the Chuseok holiday, it was decided to allow up to 8 people to meet at home, including 4 people who have completed the vaccination, even in the 4th stage of the distance.



The government plans to additionally install and operate temporary screening inspection stations in 13 places including highway rest areas, railway stations, and terminals.
