Former Vice Justice Minister Kim Hak-eui, whose ruling was overturned due to the prosecution's allegations of conciliation of witnesses, had a dispute with the prosecution over whether to persuade witnesses in the repatriation trial.

At the first hearing at the Seoul High Court held today (2nd), the attorney for former Vice Minister Kim said, "Mr. Choi's testimony has already been contaminated." You shouldn't believe it."

Choi, who was previously designated as the so-called 'sponsor' of former Vice Minister Kim, initially overturned the testimony at the appeals court after refusing to admit that he had bribed former Vice Minister Kim.

Prior to the repatriation, the court of appeals sentenced Kim to two years and six months in prison based on this and arrested him, but the Supreme Court said in June that it must prove that Choi's statement was overturned because of the pressure and conciliation of the prosecutor. The case has been returned.

The prosecution argued that there was no pressure or conciliation at the time of the pre-interview in the courtroom on that day and insisted that the suspicion be resolved by calling Choi as a witness. I objected to doing so.

The court decided to call Choi as a witness at the trial on the 7th of next month.

While attending the trial that day, former Vice Minister Kim went to court without answering reporters who asked about his stance on the case of the departure ban.
