On the 21st of last month, the authorities publicly wanted Ma Chang-jin, a 50-year-old man who damaged an electronic anklet and fled from Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do.

Chang-jin Ma was sentenced to five years in prison the following year for raping two minors in August 2011.

Chang-jin Ma, who has been wearing an electronic anklet since being released from prison, was charged with raping another woman at the end of July, but disappeared during the police investigation.

The police believe that Ma Chang-jin damaged the electronic anklet and headed to a place about 10 km away, then abandoned the vehicle and fled into the mountains.

Authorities believe that there is a possibility that Machangjin escaped from Jangheung and fled to Yeongam, Naju, Hwasun, or Gwangju, and they are tracking 400 people.

He said that he was wearing an orange backpack and white sneakers and that it was characterized by a stepping stone and asked for active cooperation with the report as there is a high possibility of using public transportation.

Since the 25th of last month, the authorities have been conducting interrogation by making wanted flyers about Machangjin, but they decided that a quick arrest was necessary and switched to a nationwide emergency public want from yesterday (1st).

However, it has been pointed out that it is a delayed response to the decision to publicly want after the incident of Kang Mo, in which two innocent women were killed, more than ten days after Ma Chang-jin's escape.
