Police have launched a search and seizure of the Merge Point headquarters, which caused a massive refund.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Financial Crimes Investigation Team announced that they have been raiding and searching a total of five locations, including Merge Plus, Merge Support, and payment agencies, located in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul from 10:15 am on the 25th.

In addition, the police explained that they had banned the departure of three people, including Merge Plus CEO Kwon Nam-hee.

Earlier, the Financial Supervisory Service was reported to have notified the police of the situation, considering the possibility that Merge Plus would not comply with the financial authorities' request for data or provide false data.

The police, who are investigating the massive refund of Merge Point, have criminally booked three executives, including CEO Kwon Nam-hee, and are analyzing related data.

Merge Point is an application that collects customers by claiming 'unlimited 20% discount for affiliate brands' to subscribers.

When the financial authorities recently reviewed whether Merge Point is operating unregistered in the electronic financial business, Merge Point abruptly stopped selling cash equivalent 'Merge Money' and reduced the number of uses.
