Busan and Gyeongnam, which you just saw, there are places where landslides occurred or retaining walls collapsed due to heavy rain last week. Only emergency measures were taken, but the news that a typhoon is approaching is growing concerns among residents.

The scene was covered by KNN reporter Pyo Joong-gyu.

<Reporter> The

industrial retaining wall collapsed in the pouring rain, and in an instant, the vehicle was buried and even the electric pole collapsed, and the whole area became a mess.

Two days after the collapse, the site is still in the midst of clearing the road.

Electricity that was cut off is also being restored, but the repair cost is tens of thousands of won per company.

A bigger concern is secondary collapse.

As you can see, it was just covered with a tarpaulin as soon as it was urgent, so if it rains, further collapse is like fire.

Dozens of tons of press machines sit right above the collapse site, adding to the worry.

[Choi Young-tae/Plant related to the collapse site: I am worried now. In fact, there is a 20-ton weight buried in the part that is above it, and if you don't remove it, there will be secondary damage.]

Recovery has not been done yet, but due to heavy rain last weekend, 130 firefighters were dispatched, flooding and traffic control followed.

Again, if heavy rain and strong winds from typhoons add up, the additional damage will inevitably be greater.

[Kim Il-kwon / Mayor of Yangsan: From yesterday, in fact, all eup, myeon and dong went into a state of emergency. From now on, I continue to do night patrols.] Both

Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do are on emergency duty for typhoons, and the southern coast is expected to rain up to 400mm, so worries are growing.
