Today (21st) around 9:40 am, a 4.0-magnitude earthquake occurred in an area 124 km southwest of Eocheong Island, Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do.



The depth of the occurrence is 7 km, and a maximum seismic intensity of 2 was detected in Jeollanam-do.



The Korea Meteorological Administration said that there would be no casualties due to the earthquake, and analyzed that some parts of Jeollanam-do would have felt the earthquake.



In addition, although there is a possibility of aftershocks caused by this earthquake, it is predicted that the intensity will be difficult for citizens in inland to feel.
