A 15-year-old teenager drowned in a lake in Barbazan, Haute-Garonne, on Thursday, while taking part in a swimming outing as part of a summer camp.
An investigation has been opened to determine the exact causes of death.

During this outing, ten children remained in the water for several hours.
One of them missing, help was called.
They quickly found the teenager but were unable to resuscitate him.

An autopsy of the body should take place in the coming days, the prosecutor of Saint-Gaudens (Haute-Garonne), Christophe Amunzateguy, told AFP.
