Today (14th), police car walls and fences were built around Gwanghwamun and all over downtown Seoul. During the Liberation Day holiday, the police went to blockade the source to prevent the assembly, but a fight broke out with a conservative group claiming that it was a walking movement, not a rally.

In the morning, the confrontation between the protesters and the police ensues.

the National Revolutionary Party, headed by Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon of Sarang First Church, tried to carry out the event saying it was a one-man walking movement, the police blocked it.

Participants try to move to the nearby Tapgol Park in Seoul, but when they are blocked again, they scream.

time goes by, the number of people gathered increases, but you can see that they are not wearing masks properly in various places.

participants and the police who came down the road got tangled and quarreled, leading to a situation just before the collision.



In the afternoon, labor and progressive groups such as the Confederation of Trade Unions and the 8/15 Congress Promotion Committee took to the city center.



About 200 people held a one-man protest against the ROK-US drill at a certain distance, and the police gave instructions to widen the gap, but there were no major clashes.



Even the pedestrian paths were controlled, causing inconvenience to citizens everywhere.

Instead of bypassing the Jongno area on 49 bus routes, a temporary shuttle bus will be operated until tomorrow.



The police plan to block illegal assemblies by mobilizing all personnel and equipment, including operating more than eighty temporary checkpoints during the Liberation Day holiday.
