As a result of SBS coverage, it was confirmed that there was another sexual harassment case at a unit in the West Sea island area where the death of a female non-commissioned officer of the Navy was sexually assaulted.



From February to June, it was found that a male adjutant was separated from the victim and is being investigated by the military prosecutors on charges of sexually harassing a female non-commissioned sergeant in various ways.



The incident was first discovered in June when a member of the naval unit in the West Sea island area reported the deviation of the officer in question during an interview with the commander.



It is said that a consular officer entered the female sergeant's quarters without permission from February to June, saying sexually humiliating remarks to female sergeants and feeding them cat food.



As a result of the self-investigation, most of them were confirmed to be true, and two days after the interview and report with the commander, the commissioning officer was dismissed and transferred to the land unit, the Navy explained.



It is also known that during the investigation of the 2nd Fleet Military Prosecutor's Office, the fact that this officer sent a sexually harassing text message to a female noncommissioned officer.



A military investigative agency official said there could be several non-commissioned officers.



The Navy has announced that it will severely punish the misconduct of the consular officers in accordance with the laws and regulations.
