A navy noncommissioned officer who reported that he was sexually harassed by a unit superior was found dead in his dorm yesterday (12th). Just a few months ago, following the death of a non-commissioned officer in the Air Force, a similar thing happened again in the military, which promised to eradicate sexual crimes. Again, suspicions are rising that there was a serious problem with the military's way of handling the case as well as the second perpetrator.

Today's first news, reporter Park Chan-beom.

<Reporter> It is said that the

parents of Navy Sergeant B also lost the strength to face the tremendous shock of losing their daughter.

Instead, the family who met with the reporters said they were afraid that the truth would be buried.

[B Sergeant Uncle: I have to release the unfair death. I'm just asking for an investigation.]

Sergeant B said that he was sexually harassed by the same unit boss C at a restaurant at the end of May.

He informed the head of the boss of the damage on the same day, and he confessed that the second assault started quickly.

Boss C called for an apology for sexual harassment and forced him to serve alcohol.

When I refused, I confessed to my family that I had to be told, "If you don't drink, you won't be lucky for three years."

[Sergeant B's older brother: I mean, forcefully pour a drink anyway.]

Boss C said that he even threatened directly by mentioning the personnel evaluation.

[Sergeant B’s older brother: (Sergeant C) threatened my sister again. Security Commander (currently, Military Security Support Command) Who knows and who knows, let's see your high score later... .] He

also raised the suspicion that Sergeant B was pressured in a way that did not make him work on purpose.

[Sergeant B’s older brother: It was a second offense, for work. My younger brother endured it and couldn't stand it, so he came and reported it... .]

Sergeant B, who could not stand it, formally reported the incident of sexual harassment to the unit commander on the 7th.

Then, three days after being transferred to another unit, he committed suicide in the residence.

[Sergeant B: Oppa B: If you felt it was difficult, you called him up and talked about why something bad was going on, and even talked about something (I’m curious)]
