A new trend has come to TikTok, the Frozen Honey.
Users should
freeze the honey in a plastic bottle
and ingest it the next day.
The creator of this challenge was
Daveyrz,
a tiktoker with more than 5.5 million followers who makes videos with viscous substances.
He decided to try a new experiment and freeze a bottle of honey.
In his TikTok video, he squeezes the frozen bottle and
takes a bite of the honey,
which has a slimy toothpaste-like shape.
Later, the tiktoker continued adding colorants to the honey to obtain different shades of color.
Eloise Fouladgar
has been another of the tiktokers who has joined this challenge with great enthusiasm, but it has taken its toll.
In her latest video, she shows how her boyfriend throws the bottles of honey at her so that she doesn't consume so much sugar.
It had become an addiction to her.

Millions of users have already joined this challenge, but without knowing the consequences that could have on them.
Eating large amounts of honey could have many negative effects such as
diarrhea, stomach aches, and dental problems
due to excess sugar.
This has been explained by dietitian
Sarah Rueven
to the New York Times.
"When you eat something that is so high in sugar, you are going to have an equally high insulin response," added Rueven.
