Caminos de Pasión
, a cultural route that promotes the history, artistic heritage, traditions, gastronomy, crafts and nature of these towns. This summer, the municipalities also share a
complete cultural program to enjoy on summer nights in
the open air. Inside or outside a castle, some walls, secluded squares or the old town are the incredible settings that host a wide variety of activities in each of the towns.
Discovering the patrimonial treasures of each one of them during the day and enjoying a music festival, a play or a concert at night is presented as a different and more than appealing plan for the nights this summer.
We review some of the events in each of these 10 historic municipalities.
Alcala la Real
The town located in the Sierra Sur de Jaén houses the impressive monumental complex of La Fortaleza de la Mota, on the hill of the same name. The completely walled enclosure has the Alcazaba, with its 20-meter high keep, and the Main Abbey Church. Strolling through its streets is to discover the old medieval city and observe incredible views of the environment from the watchtower. The Pósito de la Fortaleza and other spaces in the city serve as the setting for the 68th edition of the
August Festivals of Alcalá la Real
.
In addition to concerts by rock and pop groups, such as Viva Sweden, the highlight of the contest is La Noche Flamenca (on August 13), with the performance of José Mercé, as well as the Carrasco family, with Reyes Carrasco at the head and Pedro "El Granaíno", among other artists.
The circus show Carman (August 11) and the performance of the play
Ushuaia
, by the company Lo Claro (August 12), complete the program.

Baena

This ancient city is located in Córdoba with important archaeological sites, such as the
Torreparedones Archaeological Park
, belonging to the Tartessian, Iberian and Roman cultures.
The old town is made up of part of the old fortress and a network of streets that formed the Arab almedina.
During the month of August, the historic center of the town will host electronic music sessions.
Goat
In the heart of the Sierra Subbética Natural Park, the Cordovan city guarded by mountains, springs and beautiful natural landscapes, has an enormous monumental heritage presided over by the castle of Arab origin belonging to the Counts of Cabra.
Within the walled enclosure there is also the Church of the Assumption and the Angels, built on an old mosque.

Culture at the foot of the neighborhood
, which runs until August 29, includes cinema, zarzuela, theater, music, exhibitions, magic ..., activities designed to get to know all the corners of the city in the cool of the night of the Cordoba mountain range.

Carmona
Carmona.
The city surrounded by the fertile Sevillian plain has one of the most important heritage sites in Andalusia.
Its historical origins date back to the Neolithic and in it there are vestiges of Roman and Islamic times ... It is one of the most monumental cities in the region and a must-see are the Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla, the Alcázar del Rey Don Pedro (today Parador de Turismo), the Puerta de Córdoba and the Casa Palacio del Marqués de las Torres (Museum of the City).
The Necropolis is the most remarkable Roman monument, unique in its kind.

Lucena
Before enjoying the cultural agenda of the Cordovan city, it is necessary to walk through its old town, declared a Historic Site, from the walled area of Castillo del Moral to the popular Barrio de Santiago.
In its network of medieval-style streets you can see the Church of San Mateo (baroque), the Royal Sanctuary of María de Araceli or the Palace of the Counts of Santa Ana. Routes through the city's courtyards, flamenco shows, the famous

Osuna
Osuna and the Collegiate Church at the top.
This jewel of the Sevillian countryside has been declared a Historic-Artistic Site due to the impressive monuments that it treasures.
Dominating the city are the Collegiate Church (16th century), the Old University (16th) and the Monastery of the Incarnation (17th), inherited from the urban development of the Dukes of Osuna, and its narrow streets include elegant palaces and stately homes.

Priego de Córdoba
The neighborhood of the Villa de Priego de Córdoba.
Cordovan Baroque is presented in all its splendor in this charming town located in a watchtower surrounded by the mountains of the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park and Geopark, in the province of Córdoba.

Barrio de la Villa
, with its intricate streets decorated with flowers, the Balcón del Adarve, with impressive views, the Castle, with its Tower of Homage, and the Baroque churches are worth a careful visit.
During the month of August, the city has a very complete cultural agenda with the
