At around 10:20 last night, 10 vehicles, including a truck and a passenger car, collided one after another at a point 24km in the direction of Iksan on the Iksan Jangsu Expressway passing Gwansan-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do.
In the accident, two people, a man and a woman in their 40s, died and six people were injured and taken to the hospital. Three of them are known to have severe injuries.
The police controlled the two lanes of the highway for about 4 hours to solve the accident.
The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident based on the black box video of the accident vehicle.

A fire broke out in an apartment building in Junggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul around 2:40 a.m. today, and it went out in about an hour and 20 minutes.
