Pro baseball's Kiwoom Heroes announced the results of their own disciplinary action against pitchers Han Hyun-hee and Ahn Woo-jin who violated quarantine rules at a 'hotel drinking party'.

Kiwoom announced on the 5th that it had decided to suspend 15 matches and fined 10 million won for Han Hyun-hee and 5 million won for Ahn Woo-jin.

Han Hyun-hee and Ahn Woo-jin left the expedition accommodation without permission on the 5th of last month and caused a scandal by having a long drinking party with an outsider at a hotel in Gangnam.

The KBO held a reward and punishment committee on the 23rd of last month and imposed a suspension of 36 matches and a fine of 5 million won to Han Hyun-hee and Ahn Woo-jin, respectively.

Kiwoom said, "Although Han Hyun-hee has a responsibility to lead the juniors as a senior, she is responsible for leading the case, such as proposing to meet with outsiders."

Regarding Ahn Woo-jin, he said, "Although I am responsible for cooperating with this case, I took into account the fact that I was advised by my seniors and that I refrained from drinking," he said, stating that he was only fined and actually exonerated.

Kiwoom said that the entire fine imposed through this disciplinary action will be donated to the quarantine authorities.

Kiwoom said, "General manager Koh Hyung-wook and manager Hong Won-ki, as managers of the team's operation practice and field, felt deeply responsible for this incident, and decided to voluntarily donate 5 million won each."
