The delta mutation, which is leading the fourth wave, has 1.6 times stronger transmission power than the 'alpha mutation', and the risk of hospitalization is twice as high.



Relatively less vaccinated age groups were more susceptible to delta mutations.



In the second week of July, when the fourth epidemic was in full swing, the rate of severe worsening or death increased 2.4 times compared to a month ago for those in their 40s and 50s.
