The personal information of two suspects arrested on charges of murdering a middle school student in Jeju has been released.

The Jeju National Police Agency held a personal disclosure review committee this morning to reveal the identity of 48-year-old Baek Kwang-seok and 46-year-old accomplice Kim Si-nam, who were arrested on charges of murdering (murder) the middle school son of a former cohabitation woman.

The deliberation committee confirmed that these were planned crimes, such as conspiring to commit a crime in advance and buying tools for the crime. He said that he decided to do so.

He also said that he has come to the conclusion that all the requirements for personal disclosure are satisfied, such as respecting the people's right to know, preventing recidivism, and serving the public interest.

The police plan to disclose the appearance of these suspects as they forward the case to the prosecution tomorrow.

A police official said, "We plan to strengthen monitoring by operating a separate family protection team to prevent secondary damage to people around the suspect, including the suspect's family, due to the disclosure of the suspect's identity."
