The search for a middle school student who disappeared while playing in the water at Haeundae Beach in Busan at night continues until the afternoon, but it is suffering from high waves.



According to the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters, the headquarters special rescue team is intensively searching between watchtowers 7 and 8 at Haeundae Beach.



Watchtower #7 is where middle school students entered the water, and Watchtower #8 is where one person who died earlier was found.



However, rescue authorities are having difficulties in searching due to swells and waves.



The fire department said, "The swell wave is about 4 to 5 meters near the first buoy, so it is difficult to search after the buoy."



In addition, it is difficult for rescue authorities to enter the sea as there is a breaker, a point where waves break in front of the beach.



The fire department said, "With the high waves and the formation of a breaking pad, a 'surge phenomenon' occurs, which causes the waves to spin, and even divers feel dizzy.



Rescue authorities anticipate that the seawater will sink the most at 2:50 pm today (25th), and after that, the reorganized team will be operated under water and water.



Prior to this, at around 3:41 a.m. today, a report was received that three middle school students went missing while playing in the water at Haeundae Beach in Busan.



One in three people came out of the water on their own and called 911, but one was found dead.
