The highest for the founder of “Facebook” .. the costs of protecting the heads of personal technology companies

The founder and CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, has topped the list of the highest personal protection costs for high-profile global CEOs.

According to a report issued by the “Protocol” website, the giant companies located in Silicon Valley in America spent a total of $ 46 million last year to protect their senior managers, and of this number was only $23.4 million for Zuckerberg’s personal security.

The site pointed out that the last figure represents an increase in the costs of protecting Mark Zuckerberg, which amounted to $ 20.4 million in 2019.

Facebook attributed the increase in Zuckerberg's protection costs to the new "Covid-19" protocols, and additional protection for him during the US presidential election, and the amount included a tax allowance of $ 10 million and an additional $ 13.4 million for personal security for the founder of "Facebook".

The “Protocol” website indicated that, as a result, Mark Zuckerberg far outperformed others in the list of the most personal protection costs for global corporate chiefs, including the world’s richest man, Jeff Bezos, who paid $1.6 million in personal protection costs.

In a sign of how fearful Facebook is for its managers, the company's chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, ranked second on the list with $7.6 million in security costs in 2020.

Facebook has faced several accusations during the last period, including spreading false information about the emerging “Corona” virus vaccine, according to what the White House announced last week.

The results on the list reflect the growing standing of the tech elite, who are becoming more and more famous coupled with the inflating market value of their globally popular service companies.
