A motel owner who entered the room where a female guest was alone was arrested by the police.

The Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced on the 23rd that it is investigating the case of A, who runs a motel, on charges of trespassing.

According to the police, at around 3 am on the 30th of last month, Mr. A called the guest room where the female guest, Mr. B, was staying and asked, "Did the boyfriend you stayed with left?"

About 10 minutes after hanging up, Mr. A opened the door of the room where Mr. B was alone with the master key and went in, but he could not enter the room because the middle door was locked.

In the police investigation, Mr. A stated, "I knew there was a customer and went in to clean it because there was no popularity even after knocking." He said, "I checked the customer and came out in less than 5 seconds.

A police official said, "The CCTV video of Mr. A opening the room door was secured on the same day, and no illegally filmed cameras were found in the room."

The police will investigate the exact circumstances of Mr. A's entry into the room based on the secured CCTV footage, and then send the case to the prosecution soon.
