Many of you may have trouble sleeping in the sweltering heat of the tropical night even in the middle of the night. However, during the night, the residents had to spend a difficult night one after another, from power outages in apartment complexes all over the country.

All the lights in the apartment complex are turned off and the building is so dark that you can't see it properly.



Yesterday (22nd) around 8:30, a power outage occurred in an apartment complex with 400 households in Dongjak-gu, Seoul.



There was a breakdown in the electrical equipment in the apartment complex, and the restoration work was completed in about 30 minutes.



However, another power outage occurred in some households, causing inconvenience to residents.

same time, the power supply was cut off for about two hours to 350 apartments in Samsan-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.



KEPCO estimates that the power outage occurred due to a breakdown in the electrical equipment in the apartment.

At around 10 pm, a power outage occurred in an apartment in Bongseon-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju, presumably caused by a transformer failure.



Out of 870 households, 420 households suffered a power outage for about 3 hours, and two residents were rescued in 10 minutes after being trapped in an elevator.

6:10 pm yesterday evening, a fire broke out in a warehouse of a food material mart in Waegwan-eup, Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do.



The fire was extinguished in an hour, and the mart staff and customers were evacuated and there were no injuries.



Police and fire departments are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of damage against mart officials.
