From tomorrow (the 20th), a heat wave of up to 35 degrees will continue.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the heat wave warning has been extended to most parts of the country due to the expansion of the North Pacific high pressure.

Tomorrow, the daytime temperature will rise above 32 degrees and the sensible temperature will rise above 33 degrees in most areas of the country.

In the central region and some southern regions, the daytime temperature is over 34 degrees and the sensible temperature is over 35 degrees.

In addition, there will be tropical nights in large cities, the west coast, the south coast, and Jeju Island overnight.

Tomorrow morning, the lowest temperature is expected to be 22-26 degrees, and the highest temperature during the day is expected to be 29-35 degrees.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that the 'heat dome phenomenon' would occur after tomorrow when the North Pacific high pressure and Tibetan high pressure containing hot air meet.

A hot sea bream is a phenomenon in which high pressure is stagnated in an area and acts like a lid for a pressure cooker that traps hot air, raising the temperature continuously.

Accordingly, there is a possibility that the heat wave warning will be expanded or strengthened, and the heat will continue for a long time. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare in advance to prevent damage by referring to the heat wave impact forecast.
