The opening of the Tokyo Olympics is now four days away.

In Japan, where the Olympic delegation had previously criticized the banners held at the Athletes' Village, this time, they are also dissatisfied with the lunch boxes our athletes will eat.

Japan has expressed strong regret over the Korean Sports Association's guidance to ensure that Korean athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics do not consume Fukushima-produced ingredients in the cafeterias of the athletes' village.

The Yomiuri Shimbun said, "Japan only ships agricultural and fishery products that have been confirmed to be safe, but the Korea Sports Association is arguing that there is a risk of radioactive contamination in the region's food materials."

A member of the House of Councilors affiliated with the LDP said, "We are very careful about the food materials supplied to the athletes' village with a sense of hospitality.

Apart from this reaction in Japan, the Korea Sports Association decided to set up a food service center in a hotel near the athletes' village and make and deliver lunch boxes with ingredients brought from Korea to the players who wanted it.

Even before the start of the tournament, it seems that an off-site nerve war between Korea and Japan is spreading unusually.
