confirmed cases of COVID-19 remained in the 1,400 range for the second day, recording a four-digit number for 12 consecutive days.



It was the highest number ever recorded on a weekend basis, setting a new record for the highest number in a week.



Excluding 52 imported cases, 1,402 were domestic cases, with 959 in the metropolitan area, including 515 in Seoul, and 443 in non-metropolitan areas, including 96 in Gyeongnam.



Group infections are continuing in various places, with 25 additional confirmed cases related to the sauna cluster infection in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, and the total number of patients has exceeded 100.



On the 3rd, at the workers' convention held in downtown Seoul, three confirmed cases were confirmed.



Following the first patient the day before, two additional cases were confirmed yesterday, and as a result of the epidemiological investigation, it was confirmed that he attended the rally.
