Apple is donating money to help flood-affected countries in Western Europe.

CEO Tim Cook reported this on Twitter on Saturday.

"Our hearts go out to those affected by the devastating floods in Germany, Belgium and Western Europe," Cook said.

"Apple will donate to support the relief efforts."

He does not say exactly how much money the tech giant will donate.

The death toll from the devastating storm in western Europe has now passed 150. At least 90 people were killed in Germany in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and 43 in neighboring North Rhine-Westphalia, which borders the Netherlands. In Belgium, authorities have reported the death of 20 victims.
