His wife Jeon Young-ja (69), who became a hot topic after announcing her marriage to writer Lee Oe-su (73) two years ago, said that she would take care of Lee, who is battling the disease, and protect her husband.

On the afternoon of the 14th, Lee's eldest son Han-Eol posted a video of Mr. Jeon taking care of Mr. Lee through his father's social media service (SNS).

In the video, Jeon rubbed the leg of the person lying on the bed and said, "Honey, this is how the two of us live. We can't be lonely if we are alone. Let's go together at the same time. We live together."

Having difficulty speaking due to a swallowing disorder, Lee responded by stroking his shoulder to his wife's confession.

Then, when Jeon joked, "We go at one o'clock a day, but let's go on different paths. Let's meet other people." Lee also smiled.

The couple chose to get married in 2019 after 44 years of marriage.

Marriage means ending your marriage and living your own life by mutual agreement instead of going through legal divorce proceedings.

However, in March of last year, when Mr. Lee collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage and was transferred to the intensive care unit after surgery, Jeon declared the end of the marriage by saying, "I feel sorry for him."
