Last month, a cat with its hind legs amputated was found in an apartment complex in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province.

Although he was bleeding profusely, he was fortunately rescued by a woman passing by and was treated at the hospital, which saved his life.

Around the same time, an animal cruelty incident took place at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

From the end of May to the beginning of June, six kittens were found dead one after another in Olympic Park.

Witnesses explained that the cat's organs and body parts were scattered as if on display.

The police started an investigation, believing that it was highly likely that the crime was committed by a human rather than by another animal, but the culprit has not been caught.
