Professional baseball is currently suspended due to a confirmed case of Corona in the squad.

There were also suspicions that some players violated quarantine rules, but that turned out to be true.

It was a belated admittance that six people had gathered in one room and drank alcohol.

The quarantine authorities requested an investigation, claiming that the players made false statements during the investigation.

Professional baseball NC player Park Seok-min admitted to violating quarantine guidelines through an apology today (14th).

On the 5th, at a hotel used as an expedition accommodation, six people, including juniors Lee Myung-gi, Kwon Hee-dong, and Park Min-woo, and two of his acquaintances, said they ate chicken and beer, and apologized for violating quarantine rules that prohibited gatherings of more than five people.

However, he risked his player's life and said that it was not true about various allegations of serious deviant behavior.

Park Min-woo, who was selected as the national team for the Tokyo Olympics, voluntarily returned the Taegeuk mark.

Although the NC club issued an apology belatedly, it is being heavily criticized for having reluctantly bowed its head as the suspicions spread while taking a break even after knowing the players' violations of quarantine rules.

During the epidemiological investigation, allegations of false statements arose.

An official from the quarantine authorities in Gangnam-gu claimed on the phone with SBS, "Some players hid the fact that they had contact with outsiders during the epidemiological investigation, so we only found out about the fact that six people were gathered in one room today."

Gangnam-gu, who later confirmed the fact that two women had entered the players' rooms through CCTV, requested the police to investigate, saying that the players made false statements.

However, the NC side insisted, "The players faithfully answered the investigation by the quarantine authorities."

The KBO will take disciplinary action against the players based on the results of the police investigation.
