TikTok, a video sharing platform that is known to have 800 million subscribers around the world.

In February, an app tech company, a subcontractor of the TikTok operator, appeared.

They recruited part-time students who said they could earn more than 10 million won a month by signing up for TikTok and clicking like and subscribe.

After paying the subscription fee and starting activities, the actual proceeds were deposited and word of mouth went viral in an instant.

[Mr A/Victim: At first, I thought it was safe because the money came in well. There are many users in Korea… .]

However, this company induced high-grade purchases by setting the subscription fee for each level of 170,000 to 10 million won, saying that it can make more profit.

[Mr B/Victim: I know that there are quite a few people who received a lot of mid-term recruitment books by more than 1 to 2 million won a day.]

But around the middle of last month, this company disappeared.

The website of the company was closed like this a month ago, but there are still posts online saying that the company is recruiting part-time students.

[Mr A/Victim: There was no doubt that it was a scam. Since the site was closed (at that time), 'Oh, I was beaten'.]

Currently, there are only about 190 confirmed victims, and the victims will soon sue the company officials for fraud charges.
