The government has signed a so-called vaccine swap agreement in Israel to receive 700,000 doses (350,000) of Pfizer vaccines for COVID-19 first and return them sequentially from September to November.

700,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine, which are supplied early through vaccine exchange with Israel, will arrive at Incheon International Airport at around 7:15 am tomorrow (7th).

The pan-government vaccine introduction task force (Task Force) announced that it has signed a vaccine exchange agreement with Israel.

Israel decided to exchange this vaccine with South Korea when it was expected that some of the Pfizer vaccines in use in Israel would have an expiration date of this month.
