Last night at around 9 o'clock, the end of the Mugunghwa train, which was about to depart from Yongsan Station to Yeosu Expo Station, deviated from the track while entering Seoul Station.

Temporary restoration took place around 6:30 am, but in the aftermath, all trains passing through Seoul, including KTX and regular trains, were delayed for more than an hour throughout the morning.

Citizens who visited the station until 3:30 pm when the congestion was resolved suffered great inconvenience.

[Darae Oh/Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul: Because it is delayed by more than an hour, the next train is sold out at 1:06 and there is only a 2:06 train, so it wastes about two hours.]

[Nam Ki-cheol/Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam: (Kore At work), I need to take some measures, but without any compensation, I just returned (tickets) myself and made a reservation. It seems that such measures are necessary.]

KORAIL said that it apologizes for the inconvenience and is investigating the cause of the accident.
