In the midst of the health and economic crisis linked to Covid-19, Apple has smashed a personal record.

The iPhone 12, its new line of smartphones released in October 2020, sold better than any other model before it.

In just seven months, the Apple brand has indeed sold more than one hundred million iPhone 12s, all models combined, according to figures from the Counterpoint Research firm relayed by 01net.

The best-selling smartphone is also the iPhone 12 Max Pro, the largest in the range.

A second "Super-cycle"

Its success is surely due to its characteristics: a larger screen, a triple camera module, the 5G available, an OLED screen and a large sensor stabilized at the level of the camera module.

Apple's revenue was only the better, as the iPhone 12 Max Pro was also the most expensive in the entire line.

This sales record exceeds that set by the iPhone 6 when it was released.

It was then the brand's smartphone that had the greatest success with consumers.

Experts from Counterpoint Research conclude that with the iPhone 12, Apple has experienced its second “Super-cycle” of sales.
