82 people per day who created and distributed hundreds of cannon bankbooks by stealing other people's names were arrested.

This cannon bankbook was used for voice phishing and illegal gambling crimes, and the money that flowed into it alone exceeded 1.4 trillion won.

man in his 30s is arrested by the police at an office in Gyeonggi-do.



[Suspected of obstruction of business, violation of the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, membership in a criminal organization or activity.] This



is the general manager of the organization that has created and distributed 320 cannon bankbooks since 2015.




They advertised high-yielding part-time jobs online and bought the title by paying 3 million won per person.



A ghost corporation was created under these names, and up to 20 cannon accounts were created per company.



Daepo bankbooks were mainly used for voice phishing and cyber illegal gambling transactions, and the amount that went through 6 years alone amounted to 1.4 trillion won.



They meticulously managed the organization to evade police pursuits.



We made more than 500 cannon phones to contact them, and if caught, we even created a code of conduct stating a fictional character and not to name an accomplice.

Cannon phones and cannon bankbooks used in crime are on the rise.



In the past two months, the number of cannon phones caught has increased more than seven times compared to the same period last year, and the number of cannon bankbooks also increased nearly doubling as more than 4,200 cannon accounts were caught.
