The Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced yesterday (19th) that a sinkhole with a diameter of about 30 cm had occurred on a six-lane road near the tomb-gun intersection in Bangi-dong, Seoul around 8 pm on the 19th.
To prevent accidents, the Seoul Dongbu Road Office and the police controlled two lanes and carried out temporary restoration work, which was completed around 1 am today.
There were no traffic accidents or casualties.
Dongbu Road Office is investigating the cause of ground subsidence.
