A rescue team was deployed to find the missing 119 rescue team at the Coupang Logistics Center in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, where firefighting work is being carried out for the third day after the fire broke out on the 17th.

The fire department said that from 10 am on the 19th, 21 people, including 5 experts, conducted a safety diagnosis, determined that there would be no problems, and dispatched a rescue team.

The safety diagnosis was carried out by going from the 2nd basement floor to the 4th floor to see if there was any danger of the building collapsing even if a rescue team to find the 119 rescue team of the Gyeonggi Gwangju Fire Station who disappeared on the first day entered.

It was judged that there was no problem in this safety examination, so a so-called 'colleague rescue team' consisting of two groups of four rescuers was put in.

As of 9 a.m. today, the large flames and black smoke have subsided, but the fire that has been transferred to the cargo inside the distribution center has not yet been completely extinguished, so the firefighting work is continuing.

The logistics center, which has an annual area of 127,000 square meters, had 16 million loads.

The rescue team went into the second basement floor to search for people with four colleagues, but the fire grew again and was isolated alone during the escape process.
