A 40-year-old man who got drunk while brushing his teeth and came out with blood, called 911, and even made a drunken noise in the hospital emergency room, was sentenced to six months in prison at the trial.

A 48-year-old man, who was brushing his teeth at home early in the morning on September 9 last year, called 119 paramedics and went to the hospital when blood came out.

To Mr. A, who was in the waiting room of the guardian in the emergency room, the hospital staff recommended, "It would be better to receive medical treatment after waking up from alcohol."

However, according to the court record, Mr. A said that he was refused treatment, and he sat on the floor and ate makgeolli and food, swearing and shouting for about 30 minutes.

In early 2019, Mr. A was sentenced to prison for a crime such as beating and swearing at a security guard at a hospital emergency room in Seoul and Chuncheon.

Chuncheon District Court Chuncheon District Court's 1st Criminal Division Chief Judge Jeong Moon-sik sentenced A (48), who was charged with obstruction of business, to six months in prison.

Judge Jung pointed out that it is clear that even a crime in the guardian's waiting room can cause serious damage to other patients by disrupting the smooth operation of the emergency room.

He continued, "Even though the extent of the damage cannot be said to be small, we cannot find any evidence that the damage has been compensated or forgiven until the sentencing date."
