A teacher at a daycare center in Dong-gu, Ulsan, who abused a 6-year-old student by throwing him and stepping on his thigh, saying he did not eat well, was sentenced to prison.



On the 18th, Ulsan District Court's 8th Criminal Division sentenced a childcare teacher A, who was handed over to trial on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Crimes of Child Abuse, 2 years in prison and 10 years of restriction on employment at children's institutions.



A was indicted on charges of abusing 15 students over 128 times, including pulling their tops or grabbing them by the neck from May to October of last year.



Mr. A is also accused of forcing the smallest child among the youngest students to receive treatment for a week if he does not eat well by stepping on his legs or grabbing his chin to force him to feed.



It was found that there were 102 abusive acts, such as throwing throws or hitting the stomach with a plate, only for this proto.



Another teacher at this daycare center charged with A was sentenced to 10 months in prison, 2 years of probation, and 3 years of restrictions on employment at children's institutions.



The court explained the reason for the sentence, saying, "About A was continuously and maliciously abused and the crime was committed for a long time, and it seems that the student was injured and mentally traumatized by the abuse."



The director of this daycare center was fined 30 million won for negligence in management.
