There were 507 new confirmed cases of Corona 19 yesterday (17th), and more than 500 confirmed cases for the third day in a row.
Excluding 23 cases imported from abroad, 484 cases were infected in Korea.
By region, 369 cases were concentrated in the metropolitan area alone, including 197 in Seoul, 151 in Gyeonggi, and 21 in Incheon.
In non-metropolitan areas, there were 115 confirmed cases.
Meanwhile, two more people died during treatment, and 1,996 people have lost their lives so far.
About 410,000 people a day yesterday received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and so far 14.23 million people, or 27.7% of the total population, have completed the first dose.
The number of people who completed vaccination is 3.88 million, or 7.6% of the population.
