RDIF named Sputnik V the most effective against the Indian strain of COVID-19

RDIF: Sputnik V is more effective against the Delta variant of the coronavirus, first discovered in India, than any other vaccine whose efficacy study has been published to date.

Earlier, the head of the state scientific center "Vector" Rinat Maksyutov said that variants of the Indian strain of coronavirus infection COVID-19 were identified in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Pskov region.

The director of the Gamaleya Center, Alexander Gunzburg, noted that the Sputnik V vaccine would be effective against the Indian mutation of the coronavirus.
