The accident appears to have occurred while a person after eating was reversing to get his car out of the parking lot.

The restaurant quickly became a mess, with a female customer eating at the window being hit by a rushing car, and other customers getting caught between the car and the table.



At around 1:30 pm today, a car driven by a man in his 50s rushed into a restaurant in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.

Mr. A and his party had an accident while trying to pull out a parked car after having lunch at this restaurant.




The car, which was about to leave after eating, smashed the window while in reverse gear, and rushed into the restaurant.



In the accident, a woman in her 30s suffered serious leg injuries and 6 customers were taken to the hospital, and 5 people received first aid at the scene.



It was lunchtime and the inside of the store was crowded, so many people were injured.



As a result of the police investigation, it was confirmed that Mr. A and the passenger were not under the influence of alcohol.



It is reported that Mr. A told the police that the car moved as soon as he put in reverse gear.
