According to the announcement of the COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team, as a result of examining adverse reactions through text messages to 10,220 Janssen vaccine recipients, 22.3% of them responded that they felt sick overall, such as muscle pain or fatigue.



Local reactions, such as injection site pain, were found to be painful in only a part of the body, with 21.3% and heat sensation at 10.2%.



In addition, headaches were 10.2%, followed by chills at 4.9%, and there was no response saying that there was a 'serious adverse reaction', the promotion team said.



By date, 10.0% of those who felt abnormal on the day of inoculation, 56.5% on the first day of inoculation, and 24.3% on the second day of inoculation.



Jung Eun-kyung, head of the promotion group, said that the report rate of adverse reactions by vaccine is 0.41% for AstraZeneca, 0.2% for Pfizer, and 0.08% for Janssen, but the vaccination is still in progress, so we need to keep an eye on it.
