Former professional baseball player Lim Chang-yong, who has been investigated for borrowing money from an acquaintance and not repaying it, has been indicted.

According to the legal community today (13th), the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office indicted Lim with a fine of 1 million won at the end of last month.

Lim borrowed 25 million won from a woman he knew last year, and was charged with not paying back part of it.

Summary indictment is a process of requesting a summary order through written hearing, rather than a formal trial, if it is judged that a fine rather than imprisonment or imprisonment is appropriate.

Lim joined the Haitai Tigers in 1995 and played in the US and Japan for 24 years before retiring in Korea in 2019.
