Kim is accused of filming and distributing and selling 'body cam' videos of men who have contacted him after disguising themselves as women in chatting applications.

Kim, who has been committing crimes since 2013, was found to have illegally filmed 27,000 videos from 1,300 men and possessed them.

More than 45,000 items were also identified, including illegal filming of women used to lure victims.

Among the victims were 39 children and adolescents.

Mr. Kim said that he would allow him to meet a woman he pretended to be, and he called 7 children and adolescents to his residence or motel, and then made them engage in similar sexual acts and filmed it.

The police, who started an investigation in April after reporting a victim, arrested Kim at his residence on the 3rd of this month after a search and seizure of chatting applications.

The police are conducting further investigations into people and buyers who re-distributed the video made by Kim.

A police official said, "Special attention is required for video calls with unidentified persons." He urged, "If damage occurs, such as threats using the footage after the video call, please report it to the police promptly."
