▲ An office worker in his 20s who succeeded in booking a Pfizer vaccine

As employees in their 20s at large companies successfully booked Pfizer vaccinations through the COVID-19 vaccination advance reservation system, young office workers started making reservations.

As 'reservation success stories' were posted one after another on social media as they were received even though they were not subject to vaccination, there was confusion as office workers in their 20s tried to make a reservation one after another.

It was confirmed that this reservation error occurred because the 'reservation available list' was incorrectly entered in the advance reservation system.

From today (7th) to the 15th, the health authorities are taking Pfizer vaccinations for workers under the age of 30 at medical institutions, and essential social workers such as police and firefighters, and their vaccination period is from the 15th to 26th .

They were originally eligible for the AstraZeneca vaccine, but as concerns about the occurrence of 'rare thrombosis' were raised, they were excluded from vaccination and received the Pfizer vaccine.

However, an error occurred when the authorities entered the list of employees under the age of 30 working at a large company's in-house medical institution, including some of the list of employees of not only medical institutions but also general company employees.

Authorities have taken steps to cancel reservations for people in their 20s who are not eligible for vaccination.
