The trial of former Justice Minister Cho Kuk, who was handed over to trial on charges of corruption in the children's entrance exam and former Busan Deputy Mayor Yoo Jae-soo, is scheduled to resume after six months.

The Seoul Central District Court Criminal Settlement Division 21-1 Division Chief Judge Ma Seong-young Kim Sang-yeon Kim Sang-yeon Jang Yong-beom will hold a follow-up trial on the 11th of the coming 11th for former Minister Cho, his spouse Jeong Kyung-shim, professor of Dongyang University, and Baek Won-woo and Park Hyeong-cheol, former secretaries of the Blue House.

Former Minister Cho was handed over to trial on charges of violating the Blue House Special Inspection Team's inspection of former Busan City Economic Deputy Mayor Yoo, and on charges of corruption in the child's entrance exam.

The trial in this case was postponed in the aftermath of the spread of Corona 19 after the preparation for the trial on December 4 last year, and was held again after six months.

As the members of the court have changed in the past, the court will call all the defendants, including the former Minister and wife, on the day of the trial to begin the trial renewal process.

It is the first time in about nine months since former Minister Cho and Prof. Chung met in court in September of last year, after former Minister Cho appeared as a witness and refused to testify at the first trial of Professor Chung.

This is the first time the two have appeared in court together as defendants.
