Person A, who suffered serious head and back injuries, was taken to the hospital, but eventually died.
A was investigated as a daily worker belonging to a subcontractor and had an accident while removing waste materials with three other workers.
The building was approved for use last month, and finishing works such as cleaning were in progress.
A was wearing a hard hat, but it is known that he was not wearing any fall prevention equipment.
The construction company, Lotte E&C, explained that the construction had been completed, so safety railings and fall prevention nets had been removed.
The police are investigating whether or not they comply with safety rules against companies and field workers.
