There were 516 new confirmed cases yesterday, and 481 were domestic cases excluding 35 foreign patients.

By region, 280 people were confirmed in the metropolitan area, including 137 people in Seoul and 132 people in Gyeonggi Province, and 201 people came out from non-metropolitan areas, including 27 in Daegu.

As the number of tests decreased over the weekend, the number of confirmed cases fell from yesterday, but the nationwide infection pattern is still continuing, with the infectious reproduction index exceeding 1 in the whole country, excluding Gyeongnam.
