A big fire broke out at a sponge manufacturing plant in Incheon, and the fire fighting authorities issued a second stage of response and started to extinguish it.

According to the Incheon Fire Department, a big fire broke out at a sponge manufacturing plant in Daegok-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, around 3:20 pm today (24th).

Fortunately, there was no human injury, but most of the two-story factories were burned down.

The fire department issued a second-stage warning at around 4 pm and started extinguishing the fire, but an hour later, at 5 pm, the fire department went back to the first stage of the response and is working hard to clean up the remaining fire.

Fire officials said, "There is a hill behind the factory that caught fire, so we once issued a second phase of response," and said, "It is extinguishing while preventing the spread of the flame."
