The High-ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Office (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Public Affairs) has launched a compulsory investigation into the suspicion of unfair special hiring of dismissed teachers by Seoul Superintendent Cho Hee-yeon.

The second part of the investigation of the Ministry of Public Affairs (Prosecutor Kim Sang-won), from 9:30 a.m. on the 18th, recruited about 20 investigators to confiscate and search the Office of Superintendent of Education, Assistant Superintendent of Education and Policy and Safety Planning Office of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.

This seizure search is the first case that the Airborne Service has assigned a case number since its inception, and is the first forced investigation since the investigation began.

Earlier, on the 23rd of last month, after announcing the results of the audit on the suspicion of unfair privilege by Superintendent Cho, the auditor accused the police of violating the National Civil Service Act and delivered the investigation reference material to the airlift.

Superintendent Cho is accused of abuse of ex officio in 2018, such as instructing to hire five teachers who were dismissed, including those from all schools.

The Ministry of Airlifting recently published and promulgated the'Regulations for Confiscation of Airlifts' in its official gazette.

As soon as the analysis of the confiscated material is finalized, the Air Defense Agency plans to summon those involved in the case.
