is a breaking news related to the case of Son Jung-min, a college student who was found dead in the Han River. The police said they were confirming the facts by securing a number of witness statements that they saw a man walking into the Han River the day Mr. Son disappeared.

total of 7 witnesses reported new information to the police investigating the activities of Son Jung-min just before his death.
Those who were fishing together near Banpo Hangang Park told the police that they had witnessed a man walking into the river at around 4:40 am on the 25th of last month, when Mr. Son disappeared.
Police said they had investigated all seven witnesses and even conducted an on-site investigation to confirm the authenticity of the report.
However, he added that it is focusing on securing additional witnesses and analyzing surrounding CCTVs as it has not been possible to determine the exact identity of the witnessed men.
Earlier, the police disclosed a witness statement that Mr. Son's friend A was found sleeping on a slope at the edge of a lawn at around 4:20 am on the day of the incident.
Friend A's returning home was later captured on the CCTV screen.
Since the early days of the investigation, the facts that have not yet been confirmed through the Internet are spreading as if they are true, causing unnecessary confusion and dispersal of investigation power.
