A medium sentence was confirmed for a man who was handed over to trial for killing his 5-year-old stepson with a wooden sword in Incheon.

The Supreme Court recently dismissed the appeal, saying there was no misunderstanding in the judgment of the lower court that sentenced her to 25 years in prison for her 20-year-old Lee Mo, who was convicted of murder and other charges.

Lee is accused of killing a step son who was five years old by hitting the face and arms of his stepson 100 times with a 1m long wooden sword in a villa in Michuhol-gu, Incheon in September last year.

Earlier, the second trial court sentenced 22 years in prison and sentenced them to 25 years in prison, saying that the first trial was light.
